Position Description / Key Responsibilities
The Vice Chair supports the Chair and Staff Liaison in leading the group, helping with coordination, communication, and keeping members engaged in achieving ASET’s goals. They work closely with the Chair, actively contribute to the group’s work, and always prioritize the interests of ASET and its members. When the Chair is unavailable, the Vice Chair steps in to lead meetings and projects.
Volunteer Responsibilities and Duties
- Attend all meetings (in person or virtual) and lead if the Chair is unavailable.
- Stay involved and support ASET’s planning and leadership efforts.
- Review materials before meetings and come prepared to contribute and guide discussion.
- Help the Chair stay in touch with members and make sure group tasks are on track.
- Keep up with the group’s work and encourage active participation.
- Ensure everyone understands the group’s role and how it supports ASET.
- Help create resources that support the group’s and ASET’s goals.
- Take on special tasks as needed.
Time Commitment
1-2 hours per month, two-year term

Qualifications
- Current ASET member
- Experience in neurodiagnostic technology preferred
