Your donation to ASET Foundation scholarships provides the resources necessary to help neurodiagnostic students and professionals enhance their knowledge and skills in the field. Remember, all donations are tax-deductible from your income in the year in which they are donated.

ASET Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded to ASET members to attend ASET Annual Conferences and education seminars and to cover the registration costs for ASET online courses. ASET scholarships generally cover the registration costs; some scholarships may be used to defray the cost of travel. Review your options and apply to the scholarship that best meets your needs.
Because the live events are held at various times throughout the year, check the application filing deadline for the event you wish to attend. Funding for the ASET Scholarships is from individual donations to the fund and net proceeds from the Foundation’s fundraising events and activities.

Sponsored Scholarships
The Sponsored Scholarship program helps ASET members attend the society’s annual conference, where they can pursue continuing education and professional achievement.
At a minimum, Sponsored Scholarships cover the cost of full registration to the annual conference. Some scholarships also may provide funding to help offset the cost of travel to the event.

Lewis Kull Online Education Scholarship
This scholarship covers the registration cost for up to two ASET online courses per applicant. The scholarship does not cover the purchase cost of reading material that may be required for course enrollment. In addition to being a member of ASET in good standing, candidates must have been a member of ASET for at least one year prior to the year of making an application. No individual is eligible to be a scholarship recipient in two consecutive years.

John Archibald Student Scholarship
The John Archibald Student Scholarship is awarded annually to assist a student in attending the ASET Annual Conference. The award consists of cash to help offset the cost of travel as well as a waiver of the annual conference registration fee. Students must be ASET members and enrolled in a CAAHEP accredited neurodiagnostic program at the time application is made.

CoA-NDT Educators’ Workshop Scholarship
The Committee on Accreditation for Education in Neurodiagnostic Technology (CoA-NDT) provides one $1,000 scholarship to a neurodiagnostic technologist working as an educator for a CAAHEP-accredited Neurodiagnostic Program. The purpose of the scholarship is to support attendance at the educator’s workshop hosted by the CoA-NDT and held in conjunction with the ASET Annual Conference.

ABRET Exam Scholarship
The ASET Foundation helps ABRET administer a scholarship program that helps with the cost of ABRET credentialing examinations for R. EEG T., R. EP T., CLTM, CNIM, CAP, CMEG, and NA-CLTM. These scholarships are for exam candidates with demonstrated financial need.
The award will cover the examination fee and include a 3-month subscription to the ABRET Self-Assessment Program (ASAP), and a one-year membership to ASET – The Neurodiagnostic Society.

ASET Emerging International Member Online Education Scholarship
The ASET Emerging International Member Online Course Scholarship is now available to provide free enrollment in one of ASET’s basic online EEG courses. Only ASET’s Emerging International Members are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
The scholarship is awarded twice a year with a June 30th and December 31st deadline for submission.

Emerging Nation Leadership Development Scholarship
This scholarship provides financial support to bring a neurodiagnostic professional with leadership skills from an emerging nation to attend the ASET Annual Conference.
The goal is to provide unique opportunities to develop important skill sets and to network with the ASET community, building resources and knowledge which can be shared with fellow technologists in emerging nations. The experience will foster establishing connections, learning from experts, and support sharing innovative work on a global stage to improve patient care.

Presidential Developing Leadership Scholarship
This annual scholarship recognizes one recipient who embodies neurodiagnostics through their outstanding character and service. Through leadership and volunteer development in teams, support for volunteer leader forums, national conferences, and community training or research focusing on building volunteer leadership skills, these individuals know how to motivate people, and they take conscious steps toward developing themselves and their colleagues.
