Recognizing the diverse pathways individuals take to enter the field, ASET advocates for completion of its 12-course online EEG Core Curriculum as a minimum standard for those entering the field through on-the-job training.
ASET’s Core EEG Curriculum consists of 13 courses that equip educators and students with the tools they need to succeed without the time-intensive and costly venture of creating an entirely new curriculum. In a medical center setting, the Core EEG Curriculum can be used for staff development by individuals in a self-paced format or in a group setting facilitated by a lead tech or neurodiagnostic educator, with established timelines. This model is successful for onboarding new employees and forging progress toward earning professional credentials.
