The committee recently completed a revised draft of the job description for the Neurodiagnostic Technologist I, an entry-level position responsible for performing neurodiagnostic procedures under supervision. The job description outlines the role’s responsibilities, supervision requirements, minimum qualifications, and reporting structure.

Proposed Amendments to ASET Bylaws
A Message to ASET Members Regarding Proposed Bylaws Changes
ASET’s bylaws have guided our organization since their introduction in 1959. Like many foundational documents of their era, they were developed in part by drawing on the bylaws of other organizations — a common and practical approach at the time. Over the decades, provisions have been added and modified as the needs of our membership evolved, but those updates were not always made with a close eye toward alignment with Alabama nonprofit law, the state in which ASET is incorporated.
To ensure our governing documents are on solid legal footing, we recently undertook a formal legal review. Based on our attorney’s recommendations, a number of changes have been proposed to bring our bylaws into full compliance with Alabama law. The specific sections reflecting those changes are presented here for your review.
We invite all members to read the proposed revisions carefully and share your feedback. Member voices matter in this process. The proposed changes will be put to a vote during the business meeting on July 24th in Kansas City, and your input between now and then is an important part of how we govern ourselves as an organization.
