ASET has been made aware that an employee email account was compromised, potentially resulting in the distribution of malicious emails. Steps were swiftly taken to secure the compromised account and are working to identify and notify any individuals who may have been directly impacted.
If you received an email from [email protected] on July 27th between 11:45am and 12:15pm CDT, please DO NOT open it, click on any links, download any attachments, or respond. Instead, please delete the message immediately.
If you interacted with a suspicious email, we strongly recommend the following:
- Change your email password immediately.
- Scan your device for malware.
- If you are using an employer-owned device, please notify your IT department of a potential compromise.
