ASET President Christopher Moses recently represented the Society at the 3rd Annual Conference of the African Neurophysiology Society (ANS) in Ghana, themed “Bridging the Neurological Care Gap in Africa.”
The event brought together professionals in neuroscience, neurodiagnostics, and neurosurgery to share ideas and build partnerships aimed at improving neurological care across the continent. The African Neurophysiology Society is dedicated to advancing neurophysiology in Africa by connecting clinicians, researchers, and educators who are passionate about improving patient outcomes.
Reflecting on the experience, Moses shared, “It was incredible to see the passion and collaboration among neurodiagnostic professionals in Africa. Everyone was eager to learn from one another and share ways to improve patient care. It really reminded me how connected our global community is and how much we can achieve together.”
