NeuroNet 200 Intraoperative Monitoring System
NeuroNet 200 intraoperative monitoring system, marketed between 1989 and 1991 by Computational Diagnostics, Inc. This system could record up to eight channels of data, electrically stimulate four extremities, stimulate either or both ears with controllable auditory stimuli, and stimulate either or both eyes with controllable visual stimuli, all simultaneously. In addition, hand-held electrical stimulators could also be simultaneously utilized to either locate cranial nerve or stimulate pedicle screws.
The Neuro – 2 software on the NeuroNet 200 system was the first to provide a flexible graphical user interface, allow true multi-modality testing and display, provide generalized digital filtering appropriate for each data type being collected, and support intra- and inter-net connective allowing both remote viewing and direct digital communication between a remotely located physician and the operating room.
