Cadwell 5200A – EP/EMG System
Cadwell brought modernity to EMG with the 5200A. This portable, microprocessor-based EMG instrument offered real-time display, digital buttons, integrated software, stimulus generators, printer, and accessories case. The 5200A was groundbreaking in that it allowed programmable sweep speeds, filter settings and repetition rates; it produced full documentation including multiple latencies, intervals and velocities; it eliminated shock artifact.
This single or dual-channel amplifier was designed to be complete, reliable and affordable. It was suitable for the clinic, operating room and ICU, and could perform evoked potentials, EMG, ENG, NCV, intraoperative spinal cord and EEG monitoring, audiology and neuro-otology.
