Emerging Nation Leadership Development Scholarship
The purpose of the Emerging Nation Leadership Scholarship is to bring a neurodiagnostic professional from an Emerging Nation, to the ASET annual conference, covering the cost of travel, lodging, meals and the conference registration fee. The goal is to offer the experience of a multiple day immersion into ASET leadership, administration, education, exposure to credentialed technologists and neurodiagnostic leaders.
- Eligibility: Neurodiagnostic professional with leadership skills from an emerging nation

- Application Deadline: October 31st for attendance the following year
Meet Our Inaugural Recipient
Sajeesh Parameswaran, RPSGT, R. EEG T., CNIM
Sajeesh Parameswaran of India has 22 years of experience in neurodiagnostics and is a senior clinical neurophysiologist at the Ananthapuri Hospital and Research Institute. Sajeesh is currently serving as president of the Society of Neuro Diagnostic Technology (SNDT), the largest association of qualified neurodiagnostic professionals in India.

EEG 200: Fundamentals of Neuroanatomy
Description: This course is an introduction to the structures and functions of the Nervous System. Course content includes basic terms related to anatomical position, direction, body region, and body plane.
EEG 202: Electrodes, Electrode Placement, and Application Methods
Description: This course provides information on how to accurately measure and apply electrodes according to The International 10-20 System of Electrode Placement. It introduces learners to electrode nomenclature, electrode types and their composition as well as appropriate electrode disinfection methods.
EEG 203: Fundamentals of EEG and Patient Care
Description: This course explores the important discoveries and historical contributions that led to the development and use of EEG as an important diagnostic tool. Other topics relate to fundamental patient care for the purpose of promoting patient safety and professional competence.
ASET Emerging International Member Online Education Scholarship
This scholarship will award free enrollment in one of ASET’s basic EEG online courses. Applicants will select the course of their choice when completing the application form. The scholarship is awarded twice a year with a June 30th and December 31st deadline for submission. All applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will be included in the selection process which will be conducted via a random drawing.
- Eligibility: ASET Emerging International Member for a minimum of 6 months emerging nation
