Throughout a remarkable career spanning four decades, Jim dedicated himself to advancing the science and practice of nerve conduction studies. Beginning his journey in the U.S. Navy and continuing through roles at Truman Medical Center, Nicolet, and ultimately Natus, he built a reputation as not only an expert but also as a gifted educator and mentor. He possessed a rare ability to simplify complex concepts and empower those around him, shaping countless careers and strengthening the profession as a whole.

Jim’s influence extended far beyond technical expertise. He was known for his generosity, humor, and unwavering commitment to supporting colleagues and students alike. He fostered a spirit of collaboration and excellence, leaving an enduring mark on everyone who had the privilege of learning from him.
