Description

Sharpen your clinical evoked potential skills by enrolling in these live, interactive sessions.  Participants will learn about Visual, Brainstem Auditory, and Somatosensory Evoked Potentials. The course will be broken down by modality and focus on indications, anatomy, equipment parameters, and patient/technical factors that may affect results. The course is designed for Neurodiagnostic technologists who want more formal instruction and is ideal for those new to the field, anyone preparing for their EP exam, or technologists who want to brush up on their skills.

 

TOPICS

Session 1
Visual and brainstem auditory evoked potentials (MARCH 23) 2 aset-ceuS:
The focus of this session will be visual evoked potentials and brainstem auditory evoked potentials in a clinical environment. We will examine how to perform a technically sound test in accordance with the ACNS Guidelines and discuss obligate waveforms and their generator sites.
 
Session 2
Median and Tibial somatosensory evoked potentials (mARCH 30) 2 aset-ceuS:
The focus of this session will be somatosensory evoked potentials in a clinical environment. We will examine how to perform a technically sound test in accordance with the ACNS Guidelines and discuss obligate waveforms and their generator sites.
