  • A collaborative project between Spectrum Health’s Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and Kendall College of Art and Design - The concept is to develop an EMU room that would provoke seizures more successfully by offering a space that is less restrictive and more like “home” which would incorporate more natural light and other elements that could trigger seizures in patients. The combination of medical professionals with design students and professionals has given birth to many innovative and unique concepts and ideas that are being further developed for implementation into the health care system.   • Bryn Mawr, PA – July 24, 2012 – Beginning Fall 2012, Harcum College will reopen its Neurodiagnostic Technology program, an allied health care program that instructs students to record, monitor and analyze the nervous system function to promote the effective treatment of pathologic conditions.
