ASET Continuing Education Units (ASET-CEUs) are awarded to programs that apply to ASET for this designation and meet rigorous evaluation criteria. Attendees are awarded ASET-CEUs for the number of hours in which they participate in a particular program. In addition, ASET-CEUs can be earned for attending ASET annual conferences, education seminars and webinars as well as successfully completing ASET’s online courses and ASET journal quizzes published in The Neurodiagnostic Journal and available online. ASET-CEUs can be used to document continuing education for re-certification or professional development and are recognized by the American Board of Registration of EEG & EP Technologists (ABRET) and the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) for re-certification.
