ASET adheres to the highest standard of care for patients and as such, develops competencies, standards and policies that have become the professional norm. Working through committees and task forces, ASET has published guidelines to assist the Neurodiagnostic professional in performing duties and highlighting proper procedures for a neurodiagnostic laboratory. Through the efforts of volunteers representing the neurodiagnostic profession, and in cooperation with other allied health organizations, the following standards, practices and competencies have been developed to guide and assist the profession.
