NCS 208: Neuromuscular Junction Diseases, Repetitive Stimulation & Myopathies



This course is designed to provide the technologist with background in neurophysiology, anatomy and function of the neuromuscular junction, to understand the neuromuscular disorders and to instruct NCS technologists in the basic skills needed to perform repetitive stimulation testing. Topics include: neuromuscular junction technical aspects, neuromuscular junction diseases and processes, myopathies, and neuromuscular junction case studies. Required Text (not included with this course purchase) Electromyography and Neuromuscular Disorders by Preston and Shapiro 2nd or 3rd edition.
