NCS 201: Introduction to Nerve Conduction Studies and NCS Terminology



This introductory course is designed to help equip the Neurodiagnostic technologist with an understanding of the terms used in nerve conduction studies. The terminology presented orients the learner to the types of procedures performed by NCS technologists; NCS instrumentation and waveforms; signs, symptoms and injuries seen in the types of neurological disorders for which NCS and EMG are used for diagnosis.
