EEG Utilization in the Emergency Department

As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist many of us have performed EEGs in the Emergency Department (ED). This lecture will focus on the utilization of EEG in the ED, including patient demographics and characteristics of these ED visits. There will also be a discussion about how telemedicine offers the potential to expand access of ED EEG testing for facilitation of timely diagnosis and treatment choices which can ultimately and positively impact patient care.
