NCS 200: Anatomy and Neurophysiology For the NCS Technologist

This course provides foundational information on anatomical locations of specific skeletal, muscular and nervous systems structures that are necessary to begin training in nerve conduction studies. Course content includes information about the central nervous system, (brain, and spinal cord), the peripheral nervous system (cranial and spinal nerves) as well as specific muscles and nerves used in routine NCS. This course will also orient NCS professionals to the neuropathways and physiology involved in recording nerve conduction responses.
