NCS in Guillain-Barre Syndrome & Other Infectious Diseases
Jerry will explain how the nerve conduction study is used in the diagnosis of Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome and other infections that affect the peripheral nervous system. We may see more patients with Guillain-Barre’ since it has been identified as a complication of the Zika virus. Jerry always delivers a dynamic and interesting presentation.

Jerry has over 38 years experience in EMG/NCV and currently works at Willis-Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana where he also performs EEG, Evoked Potentials and IONM procedures. He considered it a privilege to teach NCS courses and is is a past recipient of the ASET Theda Sannit Outstanding Educator Award. Jerry is also the 2016 recipient of the Kathleen Mears Memorial Award.
