Quantitative EEG is a drastically underutilized tool in continuous and ambulatory EEG populations. It can and should be used to complement and enhance pattern recognition skills as well as display long term trends that otherwise could be missed if only using raw EEG. Quantitative EEG also gives opportunities to use EEG to monitor patients for other reasons. This webinar has several goals in mind: to review each quantitative EEG plot, define it, suggest ways to use each plot, give examples of normal and abnormal EEG with its respective quantitative EEG plot, and describe ways quantitative EEG is used outside of seizure detection.
