This webinar will explore the neural origin of electrical activity in the brain. The EEG is a valuable tool for studying brain function, diagnosing neurological disorders, and monitoring changes in neural activity during various states. The presenter will explain neural electrochemical processes at the intracellular, cellular, and extracellular levels in the context of cortical functioning as well as discussion of how these processes translate to the EEG signals which are recorded and displayed.
