Mission Statement
Washington Chapter of ASET – The Neurodiagnostic Society (WA-ASET) provides leadership, advocacy and resources that promote professional excellence and quality patient care in neurodiagnostic services. As a membership organization, WA-ASET advances the field by serving member needs, defining and endorsing standards of practice, providing innovative educational opportunities, promoting the profession, and building coalitions in allied health, and other membership communities.
Neurodiagnostics includes but is not limited to autonomic reflex testing (ART), electroencephalography (EEG), evoked potentials (EP), nerve conduction studies (NCS), polysomnography technology (PSG), intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM), long-term monitoring (LTM), and intensive care unit continuous EEG monitoring (ICU/cEEG).
Vision Statement
The Washington Chapter of ASET – The Neurodiagnostic Society (WA-ASET) is a membership organization of healthcare professionals in the neurodiagnostic field in the state of Washington. We strive to be a catalyst for collaboration, education, new technology, and state licensure to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care in neurodiagnostic services.
