1. Why do you want to serve as a trustee?

   I love our field, it's patients, and my colleagues. I want to serve them in the capacity of President-Elect and President to continue serving them and advancing our field. I would like to serve both our patients and Neurophysiology Professionals by helping to develop a strategic plan for further developing a qualified workforce in the United States and globally. I believe that investing our Neurophysiology Professionals elevates patient care and quality.

2. What are the unique skills you possess that would benefit you in your tenure as a BOT member? How did you develop those skills?

   I believe I have a very well-rounded view of where our field is currently and where we want to go. I have been very blessed to have participated in ASET committee work and the ASET Board of Trustees along with serving the global community in Neurophysiology training. This has been essential in developing me for working with many Neurophysiology Technologists from very diverse perspectives and locations.

3. What qualities do you feel are important for a BOT member to possess? What experiences have helped you to develop these qualities?

   While not an exhaustive list, these are some qualities that are important for a President-Elect to have: Passion for Neurophysiology Technologists and Patients, Openness to Feedback and Ideas, Patience, Critical Thinking, and Tact. The privilege of being on multiple ASET Committees, ASET Board of Trustees, ACNS Guideline Committee, and working in other nations developing Neurophysiology Programs has grown me in these qualities and many more.
