ASET is committed to fostering an international neurodiagnostic community and proudly supports the ASET Foundation to offer the Emerging Nation Leadership Development Scholarship. This scholarship provides financial support to bring a neurodiagnostic professional with leadership skills from an emerging nation to attend the ASET Annual Conference.
The goal is to provide unique opportunities to develop important skill sets and to network with the ASET community, building resources and knowledge which can be shared with fellow technologists in emerging nations. The experience will foster establishing connections, learning from experts, and support sharing innovative work on a global stage to improve patient care.
Before you begin your application, please ensure you have the following documents readily available:
- Letter of Reference: A letter of recommendation from your employer
- Travel Readiness: Proof of your ability to secure a passport, visa, and any other necessary travel documentation by April 1st

- September 1st, 2025
Applications are opened online and available to candidates - October 31st, 2025
Applications are due - November 30th, 2025
Winner is nominated by ASET Foundation Grants Committee - December 31st, 2025
Board votes to approve scholarship - January 2026
Winner is notified - May 31st, 2026
All required documentation is verified; ticket is purchased; hotel reservations are confirmed; registration is completed by ASET staff - Conference: July 23rd – 25th, 2026
A designated Board Member or Staff meets with individual when they arrive at the conference and assists them as needed through the conference
Scholarship Funds
The fund’s financial target is $5,000.
Awards will include:- Up to $1,500 for purchase of a regular economy/coach fare airline ticket
- Hotel stay from Wednesday – Saturday
- Complimentary registration
- Reimbursement for travel from home to airport
- Per Diem (food/taxi) at $75/day
