CALL FOR PAPERS - 2012 ASET Annual Conference
ASET's 53rd Annual Conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza St. Paul Riverfront in Saint Paul, MN, August 2-4, 2012. Abstract papers and poster presentations may be submitted until March 15th. Consider sharing your knowledge and expertise with your fellow Technologists during the 2012 Annual Conference, and receive complimentary registration for the day of your presentation. 2011 Neurodiagnostic Profession Salary and Benefits Report is available NOW!
The ASET Salary Survey was completed by 813 neurodiagnostic professionals from all areas of the field. The 65-page report includes salaries by credentials, education, procedures currently trained to perform, years of experience and type of facility. It also includes regional salaries by credentials, the global salary ranges for the neurodiagnostic field and a section for self-employed or contracted professionals as well as those in management. The publication is available for purchase through the ASET Store.
$65 for ASET members and $95 for non-members.
Call for Fellows Nominations Now Open -- Do you know ASET members who are highly esteemed and who have given their time and talents to the Neurodiagnostic profession? 2012 Call for Trustee Nominations Now Open -- ASET is seeking neurodiagnostic technologists who hold membership in the Society to serve in leadership positions on its Board of Trustees. New Scope of Practice for Neurodiagnostic Technology -- Following two years of work by ASET’s Standards & Practices Committee and task forces consisting of no less than 50 ASET members, we are pleased to announce the release of the revised Scope of Practice for Neurodiagnostic Technology. In support of this document, we have updated the national competency skill standards for performing neurodiagnostic procedures, and updated, revised, and created new job description guidelines.
